Listen

Description

This week we brought on a special guest to talk about therapy and how it can be helpful for anxiety, depression, grief, and more.

Erin has over 23 years of experience in the social work and mental health field and specializes in providing therapy to people dealing with anxiety (including panic disorder, social anxiety, and phobias), trauma, and grief.

A little over a year ago, Erin chose to set up her therapy practice 100% online so she could help people that otherwise would never go through with therapy due to stigma, lack of time/transportation, access, or cost.   Her approach is eclectic and mostly uses mindfulness-based interventions including breathing and Grounding Exercises, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and some body-based/somatic techniques. Erin also provides a lot of psychoeducation around anxiety triggers and causes and specific exercises to address them (usually involving exposure and practice in session).

Erin offers a free phone consultation to make sure she can either help you or get you connected with a therapist who can. She is licensed in the State of Washington and can only serve residents of that state at this time, however, there are some other countries where she is able to serve people online as well. You can book a consultation directly through her website at fearlesshealingtherapy.com.
