Episode Questions:
- What is one piece of advice you would tell the younger you?
- What is the gospel?
- Jesus died on the cross for our sins so we can be in an everlasting relationship with god, set free for the payment Jesus made for me, you, and everyone
- JESUS WENT TO THE CROSS WITH YOU IN MIND
- What are some verses that you think of that clearly state the gospel?
- John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
- Romans 6:23 “ for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of god is eternal life in Christ Jesus our lord”
- How do you get salvation? - do you earn it, do you ask for it, do you work for it? How exactly do you “get” it and get to spend eternity in heaven?
- Can you lose salvation?
- Romans 8:35-39 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord"
