Meet Brittany and her version life with living with disabilities. I chose not disclose her disability with her permission so that we could see her beyond something that is identified as a flaw but something that has given her a great sense of life. Brittany is a beautiful soul and selfless warm person to be around. She goes way out her way to make sure others needs are met much before her own. Listen to Brittany by being understanding and respecting her way of life and listen to this mini episode of The Jarvis Show.
"Around 15 per cent of the world’s population, or estimated 1 billion people, live with disabilities. They are the world’s largest minority. Persons with disabilities are a diverse group, and factors such as sex, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, race, ethnicity and their economic situation affect their experiences in life and their health needs." But it never limits them!
To Brittany, Thank you for being in my life and helping me the way you did so many years ago. I appreciate you and you are never going to be forgotten. -JB
