How often have you met someone whose dream has died? Or maybe it’s not dead yet but seems to be on life support gasping for a breath of hope.

Too many people in life are struggling to make ends meet and at the same time shelving the dream, the passion, the summation of their gifts, to make it happen.

Leaders must be bold enough to dream on their own terms. Setting aside the fears of judgement, budget, embarrassment, and even success, leaders must pursue their dreams as a means of expanding their influence and impact.

Leaders must also recognize and revive the dreams of those they lead. “Motivation is like bathing,” says Zig Ziglar, “that’s why we recommend it daily.” If leaders don’t allow room for dreams to grow, an environment for them to flourish in and the realistic expectation that they one day will, then dreams are destined to die a slow and unnoticed death.

• CARE - Care about the fact that your people have dreams, goals and visions and you may not be a key part in it.
• PASSION - reigniting passion might eventually lead to your best people working on their own project but until they do they will work 10x harder for you.
• REACH - help people around you see a realistic path to reaching their dreams - your belief in them will go a long way. ​
