THANK A VETERAN!
I know the truth. Not every veteran of the US Armed Forces over the last century served voluntarily. I also know not all served honorably. I also know not all served with the same level of risk, danger and effectiveness. Yet all served.
Women and men who sacrifice a season of life to protect and defend our great nation do so because they believe in and honor something greater than themselves. They have committed time away from their own lives, families and careers to fight for you.
Yes, some wars are unnecessary. Many deaths are unnecessary as well. But the cause of freedom, the right to be free, the right to pursue life, liberty happiness are clearly worth fighting for even when the battle is not clear.
If you have served as I have served THANK YOU. Thank you for your willingness to serve, your heart to serve and your sacrifice to serve.
