Your Ideas Are Seeds, You Are The Soil!
WHERE IS ALL THE POTENTIAL STORED?
The acorn is a seed. It is not a giraffe seed, not an elephant seed, not an airplane seed it is an oak tree seed. Do you know what comes from an acorn? An oak tree. Nothing else can come from an oak tree. You know what comes from a pine cone? Not an oak tree! Only a pine tree!
Did you know that an acorn or a pine cone left on the road side will become nothing? Seriously it will decay, rot or be eaten by a squirrel but left on a hard surface without water it will wither up and blow away into nothing.
The seed, the acorn, the pine cone, the pumpkin seed all of them are the same thing - a blueprint. They are not the entire substance of the tree. All on their own, they cannot produce a tree. They need something else. A seed needs nutrient rich, moisture filled, deep and solid soil.
Here’s a leadership rule for you. IDEAS ARE SEEDS!! You may have a million of them in your head. They are seeds, blueprints of greatness which like any other seed need a place to germinate, gather nutrients, take on mass and become something of significant substance. Of you want the dreams, goals and visions in your life to become strong enough to hold onto in a storm, build a place in you for them to grow.
BTW, in certain religious ideologies the declaration “ashes to ashes, dust to dust, from the dirt you were made, to the dirt you return” is part of the farewell message to the dearly departed.
