On today's show. Our guest will share her journey of shifting at just about midlife here career as a dentist of 17 years.
Vera Marques, she grew up in Portugal and was an imaginative kid. She went to a university in Lisbon and became a dentist. She chose this profession because she loves working with her hands and she likes to help people. She moved to the UK to practice dentistry. She later found herself disenchanted with her career. She went into psychotherapy for and because of her own pain and when her father passed away in 2020, profound depression ensued. Apart from getting help from a doctor and a therapist she found help in a group for dentists. The group is led by a Dentist Career Coach Dr. Laura Brenner. Now Vera’s pain is now becoming her new passion.
