I spoke to my friend Anika Pyle, a queer musician, poet, yogi, and artist from Philadelphia. Pyle is a queer poet, songwriter and artist from Philadelphia who centers shame-resilience and empathy in her work. Her latest record - Wild River - is a genre bending album of poetry and spoken word making sense of grief, failure and finding joy after the death of her father.
