María Linares is a composer, singer and cultural manager, and founder of Fiona Records.
She has composed original music and songs for documentaries, series and fiction short films for projects in Colombia, Panama, Mexico and the United States. He composed music for the inauguration of the Bogotá Cinematheque in June 2019 and has produced film concerts in important venues such as: Movistar arena, Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theater Studio Theater, Bogotá Cinematheque, San Pedro Church in Cartagena, among others. .
She has been invited as a lecturer to important spaces for her work as a composer and cultural manager: Cartagena International Film Festival, Bogotá Music Market, Villa del Cine Festival, Bucaramanga Film Festival, among others. Founding member and ex-president of Mucine (Colombian Association of film music composers) and of the team that leads Women in Music Colombia.
