Every year, COGconnected editors gather in the Press X To Podcast battlebridge to suss out the ten best games of the year. Or maybe it’s better to say our best games of the year. There’s invariably a passion project or two that make the list out of the blue, and we think that’s a-ok. The catch? We have to agree on the list. COG’s category based awards are decided strictly by votes from the team, but the ten best games of 2019 is more… personal.
