Chorus: As the Deer
Chorus: Fill My Cup, Lord
Call to Worship: Mark 6:7-12
Leader: And he called the twelve to himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.
People: He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no copper in their money belts— but to wear sandals and not to put on two tunics.
Leader: He also said to them, “In whatever place you enter a house, stay there until you depart from that place.
People: And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them.”
All: So, they went out and proclaimed that people should repent.
Invocation (In Unison):
Dear Lord, you give us so much; the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the shelter we sleep in, and the air we breathe. Yet with all this Lord, we want more. We want the finest food, the biggest house, and designer clothing. Forgive us Lord, for you truly give us all we need. In return Lord, you ask for so little. You ask us to love you. You ask us to love our neighbor. You ask us to spread your word throughout all nations. When you ask us Lord, we fail you. Please Lord, forgive our weakness and help us to do your will. For we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.

Pastoral Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer (Unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
