We spoke to resident finance journalist Denise Raward. We also discussed the rise of conditional savings accounts, and where to find a competitive unconditional rate. They are not as high as rates on products that make you jump through 11,000 hoops - but they're out there. This was all part of an ACCC deposit inquiry a couple of years ago, but as Denise said, so far that inquiry amounted to diddly squat.
