If we look at scripture we see that some of God's best have often suffered the worst this world has to offer. Bad things happen to good and godly people all the time. God chose to be with Daniel in his suffering. God taught Daniel how to be obedient and how to be in a relationship with God regardless of his circumstances. Daniel learned how to have a genuine, life changing faith.
