In this episode, we discuss the Ohio train derailment which happened last month and the rippling effects we've seen in different aspects since the event occurred. Here, we look into the facts of what we so far know about the train derailment itself as well as the impacts it had left on East Palestine citizens. We additionally explore the politicization of incidents like these and take a closer look at the current debates surrounding Ohio with both American political parties fighting for the spotlight. More importantly, we dive into learning more about labor rights for railroad workers and the limitations which they have been facing for years. Lastly, we describe other train derailment accidents which have recently happened and look at a specific incident which happened right here in Boston.
