As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To show our support, our team is turning in our yellow shoe covers we wear in your home and changing them to PINK.
You will see a lot of pink throughout the month and that is great because the support for defeating this cancer has grown over the years. To us though, it’s more than just wearing pink, it’s personal for Scott and I.
Our father’s only sister (our aunt) passed away because of this cancer years ago and like you, we find this and all types of cancer unacceptable. There is a way to continue to fight this with funding for research, education, and continued awareness.
That is why we are wearing #pink this month.
