Hello Mystics! Thank you for tuning into episode # 22. On today’s show we’re going to talk about Lughnasadh! If you’re not sure what that is, you’re in the right place. It is a Greater Sabbat on the witch’s Wheel of The Year, and it’s coming up on August 1. This is a celebration of the first of three harvests where we thank the sun, honor the sun god Lugh, and begin our slow preparations for colder weather.
Coming up in this week’s astrology forecast for August 1-7. Lots of major planetary alignments this week--some a bit bleak, some quite lovely, almost all of them happening in the first few days of the week. In addition to Lugnasadh, Mercury will oppose the Sun, the Sun will oppose retrograde Saturn, Venus will trine Uranus, and the Sun will square Uranus. Trust me, it’s not nearly as bad as it might sound.
