There is always a temptation to be dishonest to get ahead. Greed lurks in our hearts, and our sinful natures want to convince us that we need to cheat to get ahead. Instead, Jesus encourages Christians to focus on Jesus and his kingdom and his grace and to trust that God will provide all that we need for life. “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). Instead of running after wealth, run after the LORD. Seek him. And trust that he will provide.
