“There is a time for everything” (Ecclesiastes 3:1), yet no matter how much you are able to enjoy and experience on earth, you will always be left wanting more. Death always leaves us with unfilled plans and unmet dreams. Have you noticed that? Why? Wise Solomon long ago explained: “God has set eternity in the human heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). How long do human hearts want to live? For eternity! Forever. Every heart longs for eternity, but there’s only one place to find it: In Jesus Christ our Savior. By God’s grace through faith in Jesus, at just the right time for each of us, God calls his people out of this world of tears into the joy of heaven. Our longing hearts find eternity in Jesus!
