“Give us today our daily bread.” I hope you pray that every day. Jesus teaches us to! Every gift is from above. From the donut you ate this morning to the heat or air conditioning in your house to the forgiveness for your sins that Jesus won on the cross to the eternal life that is waiting for you in heaven. Every gift is from above. “Give us today our daily bread.” As God fills your body, look to him to fill your soul. He will! “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35).
