Description

Remco Pardoel is a retired Dutch Mixed Martial Artist who competed in the Heavyweight Division. He has fought in promotions such as the UFC, Pancrase, Shooto, Rings and World Vale Tudo Championships. Remco won a Gold Medal at the 1988 Junior National Judo Championships and a number of titles in jiu-jitsu throughout Europe. In 1994 he was invited to compete in the 2nd Ultimate Fighting Championship where he won two fights before losing to Royce Gracie in the semi-finals. In this episode we talk about his origins in Martial Arts, the experience of fighting in the early UFC events and his thoughts on the last night's UFC 261 card.
