On today’s episode of The Fit Parent Podcast, I am joined by current client & mom of 2, Nichole Sweeney to talk about how she stopped living in the extremes of dieting and weight loss, and learned to start living with intention and balance.
We go into depth on:
How she learned to address her background track of negative thoughts without letting them derail her mindset
How she built intentional routines by making the most of the small pockets of time throughout the day
How she learned to trust herself to “live in the middle” instead of living in the extremes of restrictive dieting
How she learned to put her needs first and not feel guilty about it
And more
We have all felt the “high” of living in the extremes. It's the “screw it Fridays” where we decide to eat whatever we want, or the super motivating Mondays where we are starting (yet another) fitness and diet routine. It feels more exciting in the moment than it does to be living in the middle. But, when we allow ourselves to live in the middle long enough, it becomes our new normal which leads to lasting results. Nichole’s story is about learning to live in the middle.
