Today Matt and I talk about his role as a sports scientist with the Portland Timbers of the MLS. We review practical advice on monitoring performance metrics for recreational athlete, for an entire sports team, and for fitness professionals and their clients. Matt has some encouraging remarks regarding the future of technology in sports. We also get to discussing injury prevention or better yet injury mitigation and how data can help determine readiness. Matt is a great guy who really understands the practical side of technology and data in sports. I hope you enjoy the discussion.
