Today we cover Atomic Habits by James Clear, a foundational book on habit science and behavior change. 

Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement, where if we can get 1% better each day then those marginal gains will lead to huge outcomes in time. We must adopt positive identity habits, where we’ll reinforce our identity through actions like exercising or eating healthy to stay consistent with ourselves. We can use tools such as implementation intentions, environmental design, reducing frictions, habit stacking, temptation bundling, accountability partners, selecting the right community, and public commitments to steer us toward the right habits. If we have a bad day, we need to get back on the right path instead of self-sabotaging.
