She is a survivor of domestic violence and a mother of 14 children, and despite facing numerous challenges, she has managed to build a successful tamales business as she says, she doesn't sell food, she sells hope.
Imelda's journey to success was not an easy one. She immigrated to the United States accidentally at 14 and had to learn to navigate a new country and culture on her own. Despite the odds, Imelda persevered and eventually started her own business selling her delicious tamales.
Recently, Imelda had the incredible opportunity to sell her food at the Superbowl, a dream come true for any entrepreneur. But for Imelda, it was more than just a business opportunity. It was a chance to spread hope and inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter how challenging the journey.
