In addition to the passing of Stan Lee and George H. W. Bush, November also marks the unfortunate death of Spongebob Creator Stephen Hillenburg. Early in his childhood, Stephen showed a deep interest in both marine life as well as animation. During college and his early career, he still had dreams of making his way back to art and animation. His creation of Spongebob Squarepants not only topped the charts for animated children’s series, but also spawned a vast legacy in the hearts of kids and adults alike.
