Description

Have you ever been accused of something that you didn’t do? And no matter how much you try to explain yourself or argue your point, it falls on deaf ears?

Have you ever tried to do the right thing, against all odds, and things still didn’t go in your favor? There’s some things in life that are just completely out of our control. How do you deal with that?

Do you clench your fists, tense up your shoulders, and fight it out as best you can... or what would it be to surrender, to relax your grip on controlling all the things in your life, to find a new freedom in trusting your life and situations to a God who loves you and works "all things for good" (Romans 8:28)?

This Sunday, we continue our four-part series on the life of Joseph, from Genesis 37-45, and discover how Joseph surrenders to God's plans. His situation actually goes from bad to worse... and yet he maintains a faithful trust and commitment to following God through it all. How does he do it - and how can we?
