Description

Matt Anderson was a key contributor at H-back/TE during SDSU's transition to Division I. The Rapid City Native helped pave the way for notable running backs Anthony Watson, Corey Koenig & Trevor Hohn.

Anderson enjoyed a solid career that saw the Jacks deliver FCS Power, McNeese State, it's first home loss since '04 in a 2006 nail biter. Additionally, Matt was part of an '06 squad that rattled off seven straight victories and was dubbed the 'Cardiac Jacks' for closing out games in riveting fashion.

In addition, Anderson competed for consecutive Great West Conference titles in '06 and '07 helping the Jacks to secure the latter crown. Anderson went on to serve in the military as pilot and enjoys living in Colorado with his wife and family.
