This week I get to take a moment to brag on my daughter Ke’ilani who committed to play D1 Volleyball for UVU. In honor of achieving that BiG DREAM, let’s talk helping your kids pursue and achieve BIG dreams.
- Visiting colleges - identify a fit, look at team, coaches, campus
- Life has a way of being two extremes
- Helping your kids work for big dreams
- Once you achieve the dream it means an entire new path opens
- Kids will have dreams they don’t have to be sports dreams
- Allow them to explore ideas
- “Our opportunity” to cheer our kids on but make accommodations for them to be in “their” zone
- You don’t have to be a coach. Be engaged, be a fan, coach, team mom and dad
- If the start a season make them finish. They need to learn to push through tough times. Fulfill your commitments
