The Christian life is intended to be one of worship to God. As we grow in grace with our transformed mind, we learn to discern more clearly how God would have us to live. First, God would have us to live humbly in community with other believers. Each of us having an accurate assessment of ourselves, we contribute our respective gifts to the body functioning cohesively. Second, Christians love. Treating one another as family, we pursue the end God has for us with intensity, joy, patience, prayerfulness, and hospitality. When we endure persecution, Christians actively return goodness. We identify with our family and live harmoniously with them by remaining humbled through our deeds and associations. Righteous choices, peaceable responses, lack of vengeful behaviors, and actionable kindness instead may result in the conviction of our adversary. Summarily, Christians finally win because goodness is the ultimate defeater of evil.
