Jim is a Archaeologist and lecturer at the University of York current work in the way people walked and moved around in the past, Author of 'The Story of Silbury Hill' and is writing a book called 'Roam', which takes us from the footsteps of early hunter-gatherers preserved in mud to ancient trackways hollowed by time, and from drovers and pilgrims, to long-distance travel and migration.
