Chris Gavaler is an associate professor at W&L University, comics editor of SHENANDOAH, and series editor of Bloomsbury Critical Guides in Comics Studies. Chris is back to discuss his new book "The Comics Form: The Art of Sequenced Images" answering foundational questions like "what is a comic" and "how do comics work" in original and imaginative ways, this book adapts established, formalist approaches to explaining the experience of reading comics.
