All of the gospels have different emphasis and themes that they highlight as they share the life and ministry of Jesus. John's gospel is no exception. In this passage John weaves between the arrest and trial of Jesus with Peter's denial. What is John trying to highlight or point out by doing this? And how can we learn from Peter's failure here and then restoration in John 21.
