In 1888, amateur archaeologist Richard Wetherill and his brother rediscovered Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde - one of the most significant North American archaeological finds in history. Intrigue ensues as Wetherill tries to promote his find, pissing off plenty of people in the meantime, and ultimately finding himself the victim of murder.
