As the co-owner of Blacksmith Breads, a local bakery that specializes in using high-quality ingredients to create a variety of delicious baked goods, he brings his extensive experience working in the food industry to everything he does.
But Raymond's commitment to making a difference doesn't stop at baking bread. He is also a big contributor to sustainability and has created the Conscious Consumer Collective in Long Beach, New York. This online farmers market brings together local growers and consumers to promote sustainable farming practices and support the local economy.
Raymond's dedication to giving back also extends to his work with veterans, economically disadvantaged individuals, newly naturalized citizens, and those who deserve a second chance. He founded Grow Horizons, a non-profit organization that advances the lives of these individuals through wellness and culinary arts. Through Grow Horizons, Raymond is able to use his expertise in the food industry to provide valuable skills and training to those who need it most.
Despite his many accomplishments, Raymond is a humble and down-to-earth person who is always eager to learn and grow. His passion for creating delicious, sustainable food and supporting his community is truly inspiring, and he is a true asset to the food industry and beyond.
