With certifications in elementary/special education, a master's degree in literacy, and a post-graduate certification in Administration, Kimberly embarked on a career in teaching. However, her path took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which led her to a quest for holistic health solutions. Through the practice of yoga, she discovered its profound gifts of health and balance, learning to connect breath with movement and finding respite from debilitating pain.
The pursuit of yoga education exceeded her expectations, not only alleviating physical pain but also leading her on a transformative journey of spiritual growth and resilience. Kimberly delved deeper into the realms of yoga and found herself drawn to the healing power of Reiki. This exploration eventually led her to become a certified Reiki Master Teacher and establish her own business, Majestic Healing.
Kimberly's purpose in life is to serve others, and she brings her passion into the realm of education by integrating mindfulness, yoga, pranayama breathing exercises, and asana practice into her teachings for special education students. Additionally, she provides yoga and mindfulness professional development to fellow teachers, sharing the benefits of these practices in educational settings.
As the co-owner of Majestic Healing in Long Beach, NY, Kimberly's impact extends beyond the classroom. She leads beachside yoga sessions, facilitates reiki healing circles, hosts spiritual talks, and offers transformative reiki healing. Majestic Healing also organizes holistic healing events, showcasing the art of healing and wellness for the betterment of all.
