Welcome everyone to the first episode of Team Ohana's new podcast series, Back Issue Book Club where Rich and I will be reading and then discussing comic book series or runs from throughout the history of comic books. Rich grew up mostly reading Marvel books, and I have only been reading comics since 2021. Let's be honest, we've both missed a lot. We wanted to start this not only because we have so much catching up to do, but because we felt like we weren't reading comics anymore. We were simply collecting them based on covers or key appearances. It's not why we got into comics and we're excited to get back into it!
This week, we're reading the classic 1982 limited series, Wolverine written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Frank Miller.
Next week, we'll be reading the 1987 series, Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters by Mike Grell from DC comics!
