Description

In this episode, Jabu Zwane discusses the number most negative and most powerful negative mindsets of all, SHAME. Shame mindset is a transcendent negative mindset that is probably the most powerful, most dominant and destructive of all mindsets. Shame is that negative emotion we feel when we perceive our worth and/or based on projections of our worth by others. It is a negative perception that distinctly brings us to an understanding that we are not good enough or that we do not meet whatever standard we are being measured against, sadly that we measure ourselves against. The other side of shame, perhaps the one that makes us more vulnerable, is the exaltation of others. When we do not feel adequate, naturally we feel less than others. Exaltation of others becomes masqueraded as respect or honour, when that is actually an acknowledgement of our poor self worth. The difference is noted in how we respond to others when they are abusive, domineering, dismissive of us or use us. The two extreme sides of shame will be covered, I believe a lot of negative behaviour reflect both sides.
