Description

“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Why, How, What

1.) Do You Know WHY

“God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one can resist God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭MSG‬‬

When you devote yourself to the Word of God, He deals with the motives and intentions of your heart.

It’s not our job to judge the intentions or the motives, but when people get around God, He speaks to their “why.”

He deals with that brokenness in you that causes your “why” to get off track.

God is so good He won’t just give you a “why”, but He will give you a who!”

2.) You were created to bring Glory to God.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Glory doesn’t look good on anyone but God.

“Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The blessed life is the best testimony of who God is.

“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭MSG‬‬

“So eat your meals heartily, not worrying about what others say about you—you’re eating to God’s glory, after all, not to please them. As a matter of fact, do everything that way, heartily and freely to God’s glory.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭31‬-32MSG‬‬

Most people are miserable because they live for the glory of their self instead of the Glory of God.

3.) Let God remind you of your why.

May God continually remind you, and you remind yourself of your why.

Your flesh wants you to lose sight of your why, and distract you from your why, and lure you into the temptation that life is all about you.

We get more excited about what we are doing instead of why we are doing it which leads to frustration and takes to how we can become something “successful.”

While you’re busy struggling in the “what” and “how to”, God just wants to look at “why.”

Don’t let compliments go to your head and criticism won’t go to your heart.

Why you’re so blessed, why you’re so loved, why you have favor on your life, why things worked out, why you survived that accident. It all comes back to your why, and the why is that Jesus + nothing + everything.

God has made you to represent Him on the earth and once you realize that, it will give you purpose because you won’t have passion until you have purpose.

In the lions’ den, Daniel could have been complaining “why did this happen?” But instead a whole nation gets changed and God gets the glory for his stance.

In the belly of a whale, Jonah could have been complaining “why did this happen?” But instead God sent that whale on a direct line to where Jonah was supposed to go and spit him up in the place where a place that was far from God was about to experience a great move of God.
