Description

And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”” Luke 16:9-13 NKJV.

1.) Choose Your Master!

““No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.””

Luke 16:13 NKJV

Mammon is a spirit and was a god that the Syrians worshipped. Mammon wants you to look at it and trust in it, rather than looking to God and trusting God.

2.) God’s Spirit Fights Off A Greedy Spirit!

Paul says to Timothy about people who serve mammon as their master and not God

“But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”

1 Timothy 6:9-10 NLT

The Bible never calls money evil, the love of money is the root of evil.

We don’t love money, we don’t live for money, we love God and we live for God!

3.) Money doesn’t help people God does.

God called you into a deep relationship with him not a “casual thing” that is merely transactional.

God will use money to help people, but your help comes from God, not money.

You need principles from God’s word in your life on how to steward what God has entrusted you with so you can move into the abundance that God has for you.

“Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”

Luke 16:11 NKJV

4.) Get Yourself An Eternal Return On Investment!

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Matthew 6:21 ESV

The more you invest in the Kingdom of God the more of your heart is into the things of God.

Wherever you put your money is really where your heart is.

““And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home.”

Luke 16:9 NKJV

Another words You can take money give it into the kingdom, and when you die souls that are in heaven as a direct result of your giving will welcome you into heaven!
