The spirit of humility fights with the spirit of pride, and humility is fighting for the war of your soul, the war of your family, the war of your legacy, the war of your future.

It doesn’t matter what people see on social media, God sees from heaven and what God sees, God rewards.
Humility says it doesn’t matter what man thinks, it only matters what God thinks.
The spirit of pride craves man’s praise. The spirit of humility craves the applause of heaven.
Pride lives for the audience of thousands, humility lives to worship the audience of one.
1.) Pride wants to be like a God, Humility says “I want to be like Jesus.”
Isaiah 14:13-14 NLT
The spirit of Pride turns you into a ME monster, the spirit of humility turns you into a servant. It causes you to want to be a blessing, it causes you to want to become like Jesus!
Jesus is the model and the standard, not anybody else in this world, only Jesus.
You’re not a good god, but the Holy Spirit is, allow him to lead your life.
Jesus is not only your savior but he is also our Lord. He not only saved you but He is also now our leader.
Humility helps us daily to become more like Jesus!
2.) Pride would never rely on someone else, humility says it is happy to rely on Jesus
Pride breeds self righteousness where humility receives righteousness from God.

Humility produces gratitude for God. Realizing without him, we are nothing but because of Him, we have everything.
3.) Pride is impressed with their own accomplishments. Humility is impressed with God’s accomplishments and Mighty Deeds.
Pride says, “Look at what I’ve done. Look at what I’ve built.” humility says, “Look at what God has done in my life. Look at what God has built through my life.”

Pride drove him from the throne to the wilderness but, thank God he was met with humility in the wilderness.

Because of humility, the king was restored. Maybe you need to be restored but can’t be because of your pride.
God has a propensity and God has a proclivity, and God has the power and ability to humble those who exalt themselves.
When you’ve been through situations that have humbled you, all you want to do is bring glory to his name.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
We don’t boast in what we’ve done, we boast in what God has done.
We don’t boast of freedom, we boast of the one who gave us freedom.
We don’t boast in our accomplishments, we boast in His accomplishments on our behalf.
4.) Pride craves to be seen as important, humility is happy with the life God has given them.

5.) A spirit of Pride cannot be taught. Humility is led by the spirit and bows low to be shown the way.

Pride says, “I know what I’m doing. I don’t need anyone’s advice. I don’t need anyone’s help. I don’t need help in my marriage. I don't need help in my business.”
Pride says, “I don’t need a church. I don’t need a pastor. I don’t need to serve. I don’t need to give. I don’t need community. I don’t need a friend. I’m good, I’m killing it.”
Humility says, “Lord, teach me, guide me, lead me, instruct me, correct me. I just want to be led by you to bring glory and honor to you.”
Humility is psalms 139 “Lord search me, and know me, and try me and test me just don’t take your presence from me.”
Humility says, “Lord, there is nothing off limits. You can speak to me about my money and my morals. I just want to be led by you.”
You’ll never be able to live out the calling God has for your life as long as you are living in pride. Pv 16:18-20
