I think that debt is not a moral issue. Whether you have debt, you never use debt, you pay off all of your debt, or you always have some money that is owed to someone else. None of these make you a good or bad person.
So if debt is an objectively neutral thing, how do we want to think about it? I leave that up to you. If you're a business owner, maybe you see it as a tool or a resource. If you've got personal debt, maybe you feel camaraderie with the millions of other people who do as well.
