He has taught screenwriting and worked as a consultant for such clients such as Disney and Cirque du Soleil and currently serves as “Chief Storyteller” at the Belief Agency where he also produces the podcast “You Are a Storyteller.” His book Invisible Ink: A Practical Guide to Building Stories That Resonate is required reading at Pixar Animation Studio. In this episode we discuss the necessity of wonder for artists, and the artist’s role in re awakening that wonder in others. We also explore what it means to tell the truth when writing a story, and even speculate a bit about what’s happened to George Lucas.
