The world tells us to repay our enemies and hate them. But Jesus said something entirely different in the sermon on the mount. He said that we are to love our enemies. How do we love those who hurt us? Maybe the first step is understanding who we are in connection to Jesus, realizing that we were once enemies of Him. How often do you spend time praying for them?
