Welcome Robin Middleton. Englishman turned Australian!
He’s a former professional badminton player who got to as high as world number 13 in Mixed Doubles and 17 for Men’s doubles, while he was playing for England.
He then went to represent Australia at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, and 2016 Olympic Games.
In this episode, we talk about the pressures that face badminton players (especially in England), and the differences that he noticed not only in the training, but also in the culture of English vs Australian badminton.
