Us men get all too comfortable with the convenience of not getting to the root of our issues. We walk around life dismissing the check engine light. We turn up worship music to ignore the loud gongs and clanks. Then we show back up to church hoping to top-off the fluid levels that always seem to be empty. God is more concerned with what's going on inside of you than with your appearances. He doesn't care about you looking good or sounding holy. He doesn't care about you having it all together or saying the Christian thing. God is after your heart! Jesus has come so that your heart would be enlightened. Jesus paid the high price so that you would have a heart to heart relationship with the Most High! It is up to you to decide whether you will present yourself in a manner worthy of Jesus. Only you decide how you will take care of the things under the hood. If you want to see Jesus move in and through your life, I dare you to take a peak underneath the hood of the things that are overwhelming you. I double dare you to invite Holy Spirit to show you what's going on under there. And I triple dare you to get alone with Jesus and ask Him to reveal himself to you in that area.
