Stealing is a serious sin that can have long-lasting, disastrous consequences.
But perhaps more importantly, it goes against the sacred laws of Christianity and all of its teachings as outlined in the Bible.
The 8th Commandment clearly states 'Thou shall not steal'; an instruction for us to live our lives honestly and with integrity.
However, it can be difficult to follow such guidance at times – especially when we are surrounded by temptation or pressure to do otherwise.
In this Bible study the Ladies of Grace aim to explore why living by the 8th Commandment is so important within Christian faith and how we can strive towards leading moral lives despite these pressures.
