🎙️ In this episode, we talk to Dave Ortolf, a Marine veteran infantryman who served from 1979 to 1985. Dave is involved in several organizations that help veterans, including Patriots and Paws.
🐕🎖️Patriots and Paws had their Best Year Ever in 2022, helping 1525 veterans, active duty, and reservists by providing household items. They also work with WAGS Rescue Shelter and Working Dogs for Warriors to provide support for veterans' dogs.

🐕🎖️ Dave recommends that everyone attending the Transition Assistance Program (TAPS) and Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS) attend the B2B Boots 2 Business program, which helps veterans transition to civilian life by providing business education and training.
Dave highly recommends Veterans in Business (VIB) which helps you get contracts with the government. He also recommends the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative (LAVC)W which is a structured network of public, private, and government agencies that work together to improve the lives of veterans, service members, and military families in LA County.
