So you’ve spent four to six years in college getting your degree.  But while it may have opened a door or two to entry-level jobs, now you realize it is not the ticket to career success that you thought.

Enter Mark Herschberg, an entrepreneur and author of the book, “The Career Toolkit,” (Cognosco Media LLC, January 2021).  It has the subtitle “Essential Skills for Success That No One Taught You.”

“These skills are learnable.  We don’t always think that way,” he says.  “You may not be a natural leader, a natural networker, but if you put in a little effort, you will get good at it.”

He’s the guest in this edition of Bizgnus Interviews.

Mr. Herschberg is founder of Cognosco Media LLC, which has a new patent pending content distribution platform. It markets an app it calls the “Brain Bump” – not a bump from a whack on the head but as a way to remember content one has read, watched or listened to.

With more than a dozen patents to his name, he has been teaching at MIT’s Career Success Accelerator for 20 years in addition to building multiple startup companies as a CTO.
