If as a child you didn’t feel safe to feel all of your emotions, as an adult, especially because of social media’s consistent joy advertisement, you might grapple with questions like: Should I feel joy now? Should I feel ecstatic? Should I be in ultimate gratitude?

In this Be Happy Now Show episode, we explore what these so-called “positive” or “high vibe” emotions might be and how okay it might be to be exactly where you are, neutral and content (and without any more fluff).


Claudia-Sam also reminds us that, before any emotion is felt, acknowledged, or experienced—before decisions are made, before our eyes open in the morning, before the alarm rings, before someone knocks on our door—there is silence. In that silence, we often find our own awareness and can meet face-to-face with our true Self, our desires, and what works for us.
