There’s big news this week breaking during our recording. The trade deadline approaches and everyone has been talking about what position of need the Lions might be chasing. Well, before any of that happened Bob Quinn sent Safety Quandre Diggs to long time Lions trade partner Seattle. Another loss came through the Injury to Kerryon Johnson, as he was placed on injured reserve. And to round things out the third loss off the week happens to be the third loss of the season. The Minnesota Vikings had there way with Detroit’s defense for most of the day. Thankfully the same can be said for Matthew Stafford and the passing game. Matthew became the fastest QB to 40,000 career passing yards, while throwing four touchdown passes to Marvin Jones Jr. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough. We had all hoped for a defensive lift from Da’Shawn Hand after finishing the week as a full participant in practice. The wait continues this week after another game of bottom of the league pass rushing. Can the Lions pull it together against the NYG and get things headed in the right direction?
